Racing through cones with speed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In MotoGymkhana, we navigate a course marked out by cones. It is an exceptional technical discipline characterized by steep lean angles, powerful acceleration, and extreme braking while cornering.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Practice<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

My training focuses heavily on the fundamentals and on repetition. Since the next pylon is usually very close by, MotoGymkhana requires some rather specialized riding techniques that take a long time to master correctly.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Winning my 4th title in Germany in 2026<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

That was probably the toughest German competition I have ever contested, because there had been a crucial change: the German Championship title had been opened up to international riders as well. And they did indeed compete – including the runner-up from the European Championship, which had taken place just a few weeks earlier.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

European Championship 2026<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A shot of my run to the 9th place in Mettet in Belgium wearing the German national jersey.It was the second time I finished in the top 10 at the European level – and that was while riding a motorcycle that was still quite new to me. I want to get a spot on the podium in the next years!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

My Gymkhana Journey<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In late 2020, I attended a MotoGymkhana event in the Netherlands and was impressed by the riding skills of the participants there. I immediately got involved, acquired my first Gymkhana motorcycle – a CBR 600 – and began training.

In 2022, I won my first German Championship, followed by two more titles in 2024 and 2025.

In 2026, I switched to a Suzuki GSX-R 1000 – a competitive “big bike” popular in Gymkhana with great potential, though challenging to ride. After some initial difficulties, I managed to master the bike as the season progressed. I won races again and secured my fourth national title.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

In MotoGymkhana, the course is not known in advance; it is revealed only shortly before the race. Participants have 30 minutes to walk the track and memorize the layout. The competition begins immediately afterwards. Each rider has two attempts, referred to as a “heat” or “run.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
